Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American pro basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th pick during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born February 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Parents Yolanda Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her brothers. She was the youngest child in her family and her parents took care of her to the max. Gregory, her father, was serving in her father's army, the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale hails from a dynamic family. In addition, she has 739 rebound. Ogunbowale played during 2013 the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and won Gold medals there. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was named to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her debut collegiate season. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for hitting multiple important shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, who is relatively new to basketball, has already made herself a household name. She will surely remain consistent throughout her professional career.
