Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American-born Vietnamese entrepreneur living in Orange County California. With my wonderful partner JP and the happy-go lucky father Henry. Many people recognize my username as @annephung on Instagram, where I chronicle my journey - from the highs and lows. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America along with my parents and brother at the age of one and half. Without my parents' love of perseverance and sacrifice it is likely that I would not share my story. When I realized that I had the potential to be a successful person I set out to be successful and do my parents proud. I had a set plan in life: go to college graduate land a corporate job get married buy a house and have kids. The lifestyle I had thought I would have wasn't what it turned out. When I was in 2013, I started dreading going to my corporate job because the pay and prestige was not bringing me joyIt was that I was throwing my time and energy to earn a living even though I knew I was meant for more. While navigating my way towards a new job, I realized that I was supposed to become an instructor. I loved exercise, I loved having fun and I enjoy helping others. I began my business in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year. It is rare to find Asian females working in the field. Within the field of coaching I would like to change the world through providing high-quality training that will aid others to become healthier and happier. Additionally, I aim to inspire others to pursue their dreams and goals in order to achieve whatever they would like to accomplish. My career was beginning to take off, I had one of the greatest losses in my life, my mother's passing away. Her eight-year battle was won. fight with the disease and now rests in Heaven and with me in my mind and heart at all times. It's incredible how life will teach us the exact lessons we need even when we don't realize that it is there. There are many ways that my mom's death changed me. I honestly believe that she gave me another opportunity to experience her loss. She died at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to enter her next life. I got my second opportunity to live the life of a fulfilled and happy. The thing I'm feeling now at the age of 30 is an experience of vitality and awareness. It's as if that I'm living my life, rather than just surviving. As I tell my story, I hope that my story will be a source of inspiration for those of yours. I hope to aid you in understanding that you're never alone. That you have the potential to accomplish whatever you want to achieve. Only one life is yours. I want you to be the best version of yourself.
