Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch, born on 19 January 1981, is an American actor. Her most well-known role is the role of Juliette Silverton/Eve which is featured on The NBC program Grimm. Tulloch was born in Spain Uruguay Argentina and San Diego California. Tulloch is known as Bitsie, which is not an abbreviation from her original name Elizabeth. This is a reference to the nickname given to her father during World War II who also was involved in the Goldsboro B52 accident. Tulloch's acting career started with her being given the nickname Bitsie. The nickname remained in use until 2017 which is when Tulloch made the decision to change her name to Elizabeth. She now is a part of Roswell as Maria. Hemmens was brought up with her sisters and two older siblings in Maine. Hemmens attended Mount View High School in Thorndike Maine before attending the performing arts high school Walnut Hill School for the Arts in close proximity to Boston for her final two years of high school. She pursued a career in acting after graduation in Los Angeles upon graduation. She holds a black-belt in the martial arts as well as weapons.
