Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films generally that are in the martial arts or horror genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as a morbid enjoyment of these films. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. Her site remained up through the beginning of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One covering the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her on the move playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! She appeared as well. She has appeared on Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing awful children's film or RiffTrax Live Shows aswell as occasional adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017.). The first time she reviewed a film was the latter part of 2009. She earned a great deal in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was part Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
